While attending Sam Houston University, Athena ran for political office (city council) honing a skill for public speech and debate. After graduating from Sam Houston State in the spring of ’95, Athena decided to focus her attention on acting full time.
She moved to Houston and booked several commercials and films, and a year later, moved to Los Angeles. Since that time she has appeared in several films, television shows, and commercials such as Battle Star Galactica: The Second Coming, The Man Show and Power Rangers.
